From Toy Troubles to Life Hustles: Childhood Learnings for Grown-Up Wins:

My childhood was far from the ideal, carefree experience that many others seem to have. Given the choice, I would never want to revisit those years. The issue wasn’t just that I faced adversity; the true challenge was that it came at an age when I had no idea how to cope with it. As a child, I struggled with thoughts of not wanting to continue, but each attempt to give up failed.

Then, something incredible happened. I became my own motivator, healer, and best friend. I became my own counselor. Life has been full of ups and downs, but I've held onto three golden rules that have guided me since childhood:

1. Everything Happens for a Bigger Reason: Even the toughest situations have a purpose, leading to something greater down the road.

2. This Too Shall Pass: Life is a series of cycles—nothing remains constant. Good times will inevitably be followed by challenges, and after every hardship, better days will come. This is the natural order of life.

3. My Problems Are Small Compared to Others: When faced with challenges, I remind myself that my struggles are minor compared to those who face far greater hardships—those without food, shelter, or family. Recognizing my privilege helps me stay grounded and grateful.

These principles have been my compass through life's unpredictable journey, and I hope they can inspire others as well.

What about you? Would you like to add anything to my list of learnings?
