Why You Should Absolutely NOT Read My Stories (But Also, Maybe You Should)
Hey folks, it's day two of my grand content writing journey! So far, I’ve racked up a whopping *zero* likes and three views on my very first story. I poured my heart into that piece and have been obsessively refreshing Medium, hoping that even a single view would give me a dopamine hit.
As I sit here on day two, I'm already feeling the content well drying up, haunted by the question:
"Why would anyone want to follow me?"
So, naturally, I decided to compile a list of reasons why you probably shouldn’t read my stories:
1. My thoughts are a tangled mess: Structuring them? Ha! I’m like a human Rubik's Cube, but no one's ever bothered to solve me.
2. I’m a terrible reader: Other than academic books (which I had no choice but to read), my reading list is pretty sad. Tried reading Ikigai and the Bhagavad Gita but, surprise surprise, never finished them.
3. English isn’t my BFF: I struggle to communicate what's rattling around in my brain, and it’s not just in my personal life—it’s a professional hazard too!
4. I’ve never written before: Literally, this is my first rodeo. People who know me are probably still in shock that I’m trying to write anything at all. So yeah, confidence isn’t exactly my strong suit here.
